Public domain books in a readable and printable format
Take a look at these texts in hypertext
Filling a Niche
Many web sites have found creative ways to add value to the huge number of public domain books that are available online, most famously from Project Gutenberg. They can do this technically by converting them into a greater number of formats or into a format that is more readable and printable. Or they can do it editorially, by the tasteful and discriminating selection of books to focus on.
Striking Appearance
This attractive resource does a little bit of both. Just scroll down the alphabetical list to see the diversity and quality of the works offered. All are in the HTML format. What is most impressive is the overall design of the site - free of clutter, simple, and elegant. People of all interests should be able to find some books to their liking here.
